Effective November 1, 2026
We'll help you get the most from your dental benefits. This page explains how we work with insurance and what you're responsible for. For more on plans, see Dental Insurance.
Plans we accept
We're in network with Delta Dental, Aetna Extend and Medi-Cal Dental (Denti-Cal). If your plan isn't listed, call us and we'll check your benefits before your visit. Plan participation can differ between our Encino and Palmdale offices, so please confirm with the office you plan to visit.
Checking your benefits
Please bring your insurance card and photo ID to your first visit, or share them when you book. We'll verify your eligibility and benefits before your visit when possible.
Estimates are not guarantees
We give you an estimate of what your plan may pay. The final amount is decided by your insurer after the claim is processed. Plan limits, waiting periods, frequency limits and missing tooth clauses can affect coverage.
Filing claims
As a courtesy, we file claims for covered services and can submit pre-treatment estimates for larger treatment.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for deductibles, co-pays, amounts over your annual maximum, and any service your plan doesn't cover or denies. If your plan delays payment for a long time, we may ask you to pay the balance and work with your insurer directly.
Medi-Cal Dental
For Medi-Cal Dental patients, we bill Medi-Cal directly and you won't be charged for covered services. If you choose a service Medi-Cal doesn't cover, we'll explain the cost and ask for your written agreement before treatment.
Out of network plans
If we're out of network with your plan, we can still file the claim for you. Your plan may reimburse you directly, and you'll pay our office at the time of service.
Keep us updated
Please tell us right away if your insurance changes. Claims denied because of outdated information become your responsibility.
