Same-Day Crowns

Same-day crowns & bridges in Encino

A crown caps and protects a damaged, cracked or heavily filled tooth, restoring its strength and appearance. At Farzad Dental in Encino (91436), CEREC® technology lets us design, mill and place a natural-looking crown in a single visit — no messy putty impressions and no weeks-long wait.

We take a quick digital scan, design your crown on screen, mill it right here in the office, and place it — all in one appointment. The result is a custom, color-matched restoration that blends right in with your smile.

Missing a tooth entirely? A bridge fills the gap using the same precise, tooth-colored materials. Dr. Philip Farzad will help you choose the option that restores both function and appearance.

Good questions Crowns & bridges FAQs

What is a same-day crown?
It's a crown designed, milled and fitted in one appointment using CEREC® technology — no temporary crown and no return visit.
How long do crowns last?
With good care, crowns commonly last 10–15 years or more. We'll show you how to care for yours.
Does getting a crown hurt?
Getting a crown is comfortable — the tooth is numbed and most patients feel only mild sensitivity afterward.
Crown or bridge — which do I need?
A crown restores a single damaged tooth; a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the teeth (or implants) beside the gap. We'll recommend the best fit at your visit.
